The death certificates collected above of Jack the Ripper victims and suspects represent some of the vital records available within this case. They have been assembled here in an effort to present another sub-collection of Ripper records that is defined by source format, rather than simply the type of role its subjects' played in criminal investigation of the killings. These records also serve as evidence that the characters presented during any narrative of the 1888 Whitechapel murders were, in fact, real people who lived and died.
