Treaty in effect ceded millions of acres in Ohio and Michigan from the Ottawa, Chippewa, Potawatomi tribal communities. In exchange for succession of the land, the tribal communities received $10,000 in total $2,400 annually, and reservations ranging from 1 to 6 miles.
