The Lonesomest Doll

The Lonsomest Doll was written by American children's author Abbie Farwell Brown and published in 1901. It tells the story of a girl queen, a lonely doll that is considered too beautiful to be played with, and the daughter of a porter who teaches the young queen how to play with the beautiful doll.
