Beatrix Potter

Beatrix Potter was born Helen Beatrix Potter on July 28, 1866, in London, England. Her work is highly regarded as being the most prolific children's illustrations of all time. She is most well known for her whimsical illustrations of anthropomorphic animals, particularly her book The Tale of Peter Rabbit, which was her first published work.  The illustration of "Kitty in Boots" below was retrieved from a unpublished story that was released in 2016, making Potter all the more relevant today ("Beatrix Potter").
