Silence: The forced disappearances

When talking about the disappearances in Nicaragua, Raquel Ferández (1993) mentions:

The war that devastated Nicaragua during the 1980s left more than 150,000 victims, including dead, disabled, widows and orphans. There are other victims who left nothing but a void behind them: they are the disappeared. Their number was never established with precision.
