Welcome to the Mid-Century Modern Furniture Archive! This digital archive focuses on archival documents from 1940-1960 showcasing mid-century modern furniture to illustrate a narrative of American elitism after the Cold War, values of the American household, and the rise of consumerism and labor. It was created by a team of graduate students at the Univeristy of Michigan's School of Information as part of their Records and Archives course and will not be updated past December of 2022.
