An excerpt of a much longer statement made by Rev. Dr. Anne C. Garrison, Assistant to the Bishop for Human Sexuality and Alcoholism about lesbians and gay men in St. Joseph's congregation, sent to members of the congregation. This was written nearly 15 years after the initial resolutions in 1973 to be open and receptive to homosexuality in the Church, detailing their continued efforts to make the Church a more inclusive place.
