Description
Interior of the Theta Delta Chi (Gamma Deuteron Charge) fraternity house dining room in the 1930s. The grand table, dark wood paneling, and chandeliers convey the continued emphasis on refinement and exclusivity in fraternity culture. This interior scene shows how Greek houses used architecture and decor to project social belonging and status within U-M’s social landscape.
