John Hope and Morehouse College

Jordan Ross (rossjd@umich.edu): Originally from Odenton, Maryland, Jordan is an alumnus and first-generation college graduate who studied philosophy at Morehouse College in Atlanta, Georgia. During his time at Morehouse College, Jordan studied abroad in Port-au-Prince Haiti, and Santiago de Cuba. As a MA candidate, his concertation for CSHPE is Diversity & Social Justice in Higher Education and his current research interests for the program are centered around two areas: student diversity in humanities programs and Historically Black Colleges.

Nicolas Ciccone (nciccone@umich.edu): Born in Michigan, Nicolas is an aspiring archivist who studied philosophy as an undergraduate student at Ann Arbor's University of Michigan. Now a graduate student, his is pursuing a master's degree from the University of Michigan's School of Information, in which his focus has been Library and Archival Science / Preservation. Recently, he has also branched into internships at community archives such as the Black Bottom Archives in Detroit, where he gained experience with web design.
