• Excerpts from the PORT HURON STATEMENT
  A pamphlet published by the SDS in 1966, collecting excerpts from the "Port Huron Statement," a statement clarifying SDS's founding convention. The statement was first drafted in 1962, and was edited several times during the Vietnam War period. Therefore, it includes SDS's proposals for peaceful solutions to the Vietnam crisis. From 1962 to 1966, SDS printed and reprinted 65,000 copies of the pamphlet in total to distribute among college students all over the U.S. for a price of 10 cents per copy, aiming at both propagating its ethos and recruiting new student members. The copy presented here is the third edition of the pamphlet.
• Problems Plague Teach-in Plans
  A cut-out copy of an article owned by campus minister of Guild House, J. Edgar Edwards, published in The Michigan Daily, student newspaper of University of Michigan. The article discusses the complications in securing funding and the amount of planning a large-scale teach-in requires. Robert Moore, a student journalist, quotes University of Michigan professors involved in the planning process of the eventual on-campus teach-in.
• A Peace Shop
  A copy of an advertisement listing the prices of merchandise related to the University of Michigan's Student Peace Union, owned by former student Richard G. Wilson. The items for sale include: buttons, posters, stickers, leaflets, and books.
• MARCH ON WASHINGTON! MOBILIZATION OCT. 21, 1967
  A flyer created by Student Mobilization Committee and distributed within Ann Arbor area. It advocates for bringing the U.S. soldiers in Vietnam back home.
• Indochina Peace Campaign
  A flyer folded into the Michigan Free Press which advertises a film series in support of ending the War in Vietnam between January and April of 1975. The series celebrates the second anniversary of the Indochina Peace Accords. The Indochina Peace Campaign was championed by celebrities Jane Fonda, and Tom Hayden. The Ann Arbor Indochina Peace Campaign self-identifies as a coalition dedicated to supporting the 1973 Paris Peace Accords
• UNIVERSITY OF MICHIGAN TEACH-IN PROTEST ON THE WAR IN VIET NAM
  A copy of an agenda from the University of Michigan teach-in protests against the war in Vietnam on March 24-25, 1965, owned by campus minister of Guild House and scheduled speaker J. Edgar Edwards. It is annotated with a handwritten note: "Attendance over 2,800."
• A PETITION FROM STUDENTS TO OUR TEACHERS
  A petition written by the Students for a Democratic Society, University of Michigan chapter, intended for students to petition their teachers. It asks that faculty withhold grades from the registrar in protest against the university's use of these grades for class ranks.
• AN APPEAL TO OUR STUDENTS
  A flyer written, signed, and distributed by University of Michigan faculty to the student body. It promotes the teach-in protest against the war in Vietnam on March 24-25, 1965.
• CHAPTER ORGANIZER'S HANDBOOK
  An unbound copy of the Students for a Democratic Society Chapter Organizer's Handbook owned by Michael Zweig, leader of the University of Michigan student chapter of the SDS.
• Legal Questions about the Sit-In
  A flyer distributed to University of Michigan students describing the legal implications of participating in the November, 1966 sit-in protest.
• Manual for All Those Attending the Mobilization
  A manual to distribute to University of Michigan students participating in the October, 1967 March on the Pentagon. The manual describes appropriate protest behavior, travel, and the day's itinerary.
• Bail Calls
  A form to collect bail money, distributed to University of Michigan student protesters expecting to be arrested during the October, 1967 March on the Pentagon.
