- Description
- U.S. tanks, troops and artillery moving up through the rubbled streets of Anzio, Italy pass MP's directing traffic. Engineer troops dig in the ruins as troops file by masses of smashed and abandoned German equipment. Troops, halftracks and artillery roll through the ruins of Gaeta, Italy. Shows wrecked German equipment. German prisoners are marched to the rear. A machine gunner fires at the fighting front. First aid and blood plasma are administered to the wounded and stretcher bearers bring in wounded. Gens. Truscott and Clark confer. British and American units meet.
