- summary
- Just Dance 4 is a 2012 music rhythm game developed and published by Ubisoft as the fourth main installment of the Just Dance series. The gameplay remains similar to other previous Just Dance games, as players are judged on their ability to mimic on-screen dancers performing a routine to a chosen song. Karaoke-styled lyrics have been revamped, with lyrics being highlighted in a pre-set color. New features in Just Dance 4 include dance battle routines, which allows up to two teams of two to fight as one of the two dancers from two previous songs.

I really remember in middle school if we had an extra 3 minutes in class my math teacher would put on a YouTube video of Just Dance for us. It was so fun but looking back on it I think she was trying to tire us out.
My family had Just Dance 4. It had one song from Marina and the Diamonds that I really liked. I liked that song so much that I ended up buying the whole debut album from on my now defunct Google Music account. I still listen to Marina to this day.
I don't particularly like to dance and I'm not sure that most of my siblings do either, but my family had Just Dance 4 for the Wii. I don't remember most of the songs but I know it had Livin La Vida Loca by Ricky Martin. As I said, none of us really liked to dance or were any good at dancing, so we would play Livin La Vida Loca over and over again but we would basically only do the arm movements and stand with our feet planted. The Wii only picked up your arm motions so when I was young I don't think I ever made the connection that you were supposed to be moving your legs too. Then a friend came over once and asked why we only danced half of the dance. After that, my younger sister would get mad because I could get a higher score on Livin La Vida Loca by only moving the top half of my body than she could actually trying to do the whole dance.
