Club Penguin was a massively multiplayer online game (MMO), involving a virtual world that contained a range of online games and activities. It was created by New Horizon Interactive (now known as Disney Canada Inc.). Players used cartoon penguin-avatars and played in an Antarctic-themed open world.
Club Penguin was divided into various rooms and distinct areas. Illustrator Chris Hendricks designed many of the first environments. Each player was provided with an igloo for a home. Members had the option of opening their igloo so other penguins could access it via the map, under "Member Igloos." Members could also purchase larger igloos and decorate their igloos with items bought with virtual coins earned by playing mini-games. - colloquialTitle

- I never had my own account but I would sit next to my brother when he would play and he would steal our moms credit card to buy more Puffles and when our mom found out he lied and said that it was my account. My mom sat me in front of the computer and was telling me to login but I didn’t know how to so that’s how she found out my brother was lying and he got yelled at. He then told me to steal the credit card so that he could get more puffles. Eventually my brother made me my own club penguin account but if I ever annoyed him he would just delete the account and it started this whole cycle where he would make me an account, we would play together, I would be a brat, he would delete the account, I would stop annoying him and then he would make me a new account. It’s insane he basically Pavloved me with Club Penguin.
