I could not write to any
One other than my own true Love
This lonely afternoon, darling Earl. And what I pay will be feeble in its attempts to carry to you some idea of the tremendous love and devotion that are in my heart, my dearly beloved. Earl, dear, no one could ever have loved you before it seems, with that whole hearted boundless love for you that has taken possession of me; and when I feel that it is returned in equal or even may be greater measure (if that is possible) then I am so happy that I just accept it all without even stopping to consider any more how un-worthy I am of such a wonderful man’s love.
