About the Archive
Our archive is a collection visual art across the centuries depicting queer stories. Here you'll be able to go on a journey throughout time and see various snapshots of what queer stories where present and shared. We'll cover the following periods: Ancient and Medieval, Renaissance to Early Modern, Modern, and Post-Modern, and there will be multiple examples you can find of the queer stories in visual media from each era. You'll be able to see recurring themes, the evolution of conceptions of sexuality, historical stereotypes, and how queer stories have changed over time.
