Community Context

All of the decisions and conversations at the UM about how to respond to and cope with the pandemic served as specific instances of larger discussions happening on state, national, and international levels. All universities struggled with this, and a full accounting of the long-term consequences of the pandemic and our response to it lies far in the future.
